Our Mission
Founded by Boulder County high schoolers Dipan Dangi and Vyom Jain, Ascent STEM is looking to expand access to STEM for underserved high school students while empowering them to lead innovation through hands-on learning. By prioritizing student-driven initiatives, we foster creativity, critical thinking, and meaningful community impact through projects and workshops.

Our Impact
Our nonprofit serves underserved students by enhancing their STEM education. Only 30% of students in low-income areas access quality STEM resources. We provide hands-on experiences to boost engagement and empower future innovators. Together, we can inspire the next generation.

Our Pillars
At Ascent STEM, our work is guided by three core pillars that shape how we create opportunities, support students, and drive meaningful impact in our community.

Innovation
We encourage students to think creatively and solve real-world problems through hands-on projects and experiential learning. By connecting ideas to impact, we help students turn curiosity into meaningful solutions.

Inclusion
We are committed to making STEM accessible to all students, regardless of background or experience. Through open events, outreach, and mentorship, we create an environment where everyone has the opportunity to explore and grow.

Entrepreneurship
We empower students to take initiative and bring their ideas to life. From launching projects to leading initiatives, we provide the support and resources needed to build, lead, and create lasting change.
